More About Reinforced Earth in the West:

Our western region is home to the tallest MSE wall in North America – 140 feet – at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The walls were built in the early 2000’s when a third runway was added.

We have been very active on Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD) railway projects, providing bridge abutments and station platforms for the Eagle P3 and West Corridor FasTracks system.

Several MSE dams dot the region, including Taylor Draw in Colorado, Lake Sherburne in Montana, and a dam on Lake Lenexa in Kansas. Reinforced Earth® MSE walls are used for a different application on each.

A unique application for our products is in the design of wildlife crossing structures, which are becoming common especially in the west, where bridges and tunnels allow groups of animals to safely cross human-made barriers.
