Finished in 2006, the MSE walls for two overpasses in northern Texas feature custom artwork to mimic both the United States and Texas flags. Look closer at the US flag and you’ll notice that the red stripes are made up of silhouettes, one for each resident of the nearby town. Each member of the town who wanted to participate was given the opportunity to include their likeness on the wall. Once the art was complete, RECo incorporated it into the casting of the panels. The panels were then painted red, white and blue.
