Route 262 Sound Walls

Completed in 2005, this VDOT project used RECo’s free-standing sound wall system to shield residential areas from traffic noise along the Woodrow Wilson Parkway. The parkway loops around Staunton, which is located at the junction of Interstates 81 and 64.
