In 2013, the City of Ontario, San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) completed construction of a grade separation over North Milliken Avenue in Ontario, CA. Built using T-WALL®, the 1.5-mile grade separation project replaced an at-grade crossing. The new railroad bridge significantly reduces traffic congestion, improves vehicle and pedestrian safety, and allows trains to maintain a higher rate of speed through the crossing.
The new railroad bridge significantly reduces traffic congestion.
The multi-phased, longitudinal project construction allowed UPRR to continually run trains throughout the entire build via temporary tracks placed within the existing right-of-way.
