This temporary TerraTrel® wire mesh MSE wall was built in 2009 as part of phased construction for a new railroad bridge. Temporary shoring was used in order to shift the railroad track off of the original bridge approach alignment. However, there was a need to fill a gap in the shoring where it passed the original bridge abutments. The temporary wire faced MSE wall was constructed, and carried Class I Railroad traffic for a period of time before the new bridge was finished.
