I-71/MLK Interchange

The interchange at I-71 and Martin Luther King Drive in Cincinnati has undergone an $80 million improvement, to ease congestion and “promote economic vitality” in the area. RECo provided the design and materials for five Reinforced Earth® MSE walls and four TechWall™ precast counterfort walls. The precast counterfort retaining walls were economical in a few locations on the site where the proposed foundation footprint had a limited width or right-of-way.
